Competing against 30 contestants, Swizel spoke on the topic - 'From Degrees to Skills: Rethinking Education for the future.'
Fr. Agnel College of Arts and Commerce, Pilar-Goa organised a state level workshop on Emerging Career Trends in Sports as part of the book release titled, " Beyond the field: Careers, Calling and Change through Sports" authored by Dr. Kennedy Joseph D'silva. Emeritus Bishop Alex Dias was the Chief Guest. Around 140 participants attended the same. The workshop comprised of Expert presentations, panel discussion and the book release.
The Red Ribbon Club of the College in collaboration with the NSS Unit of the college organised a session on HIV/AIDS for the students with an objective to bring awareness about HIV/AIDS and it's implications on the youth and society. ![]()
The resource person was Dr. Jagadish Cacodkar, Professor and Head, Department of Preventive and Social Medicine (Community Medicine) at Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim.
The Minor and Major students of TYBA Political Science along with faculty members Ms. Sylvia Antao and Mr. Jonas Rodrigues visited the branch of the Bombay High Court in Goa at Porvorim on 25th September 2025. The students were given a brief tour about the court and the facilities present. The students also witnessed court proceedings on various issues such as property, civilian matters and other appellate matters. This visit combined the theoretical knowledge gained in class with the practical component of witnessing actual judicial processes
The Economics Department of Fr. Agnel College of Arts and Commerce, organised a field visit to Centre for Incubation and Business Acceleration (CIBA) Verna-Goa. The field visit was organised for students of FYBcom(A) for giving the students a practical experience/ understanding of a startup/business incubator.The 17 student participants were accompanied by Hod Economics Assoc. Prof Roy Gomes and Asst. Prof Aelred Godinho
The Department of Sociology organised a guest lecture on the Topic: Juvenile Delinquency: Punishments, Sections and Acts. The speaker for the session was Adv. Siddhi Gokuldas Naik from V. M. Salgaoncar College of Law. Miramar, Goa. It was an enriching session.
The Department of Konkani organised study trip to Doordarshan Kendra on 15 September, 2025 at 10:00 am, provided TYBA and SY BCA students with valuable insights into broadcasting operations, content creation, and the role of Doordarshan in promoting regional languages and culture, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.![]()
Total 15 students attended along with two faculty members.
