Fr. Agnel College welcomes Prof. (Dr.) Annie Rajan as Principal, Pilar. Rev. Fr. Anthony D’Silva highlighted her 28 years at Dhempe College and IGNOU role. She earned a Mumbai Ph.D. on Konkani translation. Ceremony included bouquet, attendance by leaders, staff introductions, and a formal handover; warm greetings and gratitude for leadership.
The Department of Physical Education & Sports of our college organizes a 5- Event series for the staff of our college titled, "The Playful Pentathlon 2026" in the college campus. The event includes the following sports/ games: Badminton Mixed Doubles, 2-A-Side Tennikoit, Search & shoot, 2x15m Bursting the Balloon Relay and 3-A-Side Tic Tac Toe. Ms. Irene George & Mr. Supresh Kharbe won Badminton Mixed Doubles, while Ms. Mabel Luis & Mr. Leonardo Almeida were the Runners-up. In Tennikoit, Ms. Mabel Luis & Me. Leonardo Almeida emerged winners and Ms. Jisha Ponnachan & Mr. Mohan Gauns were the runners-up. Ms. Mabel Luis & Mr. Leonardo Almeida finished first in Search & Shoot, Ms. Mabel Luis, Mr. Jonas Rodrigues & Mr. Leonardo Almeida won Tic Tac Toe. In Bursting the Balloon Relay, Ms. Jisha Ponnachan & Mr. Jonas Rodrigues emerged victorious.

The Staff Welfare Committee organized a get-together cum fellowship on 21st April 2026 at Bambolim Beach Resort, Goa. The event aimed to strengthen bonds among staff members and promote a spirit of unity and collaboration. A felicitation ceremony was conducted to honor staff achievements and milestones accomplished during the year 2025–26. Recognitions included awards such as Best Paper awards, Scopus publications, NET/SET qualifications, PhD completion, and long service at the institution. Personal milestones like marriage and other state, national, and international recognitions were also celebrated. The event concluded on a positive note, encouraging a sense of appreciation among all participants.

Fr. Agnel College of Arts & Commerce, Pilar celebrated its Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony on 28th March, 2026 with great enthusiasm, recognizing the achievements of meritorious students. The event was graced by Special Guests Mrs. Soniya Dund - Branch Manager, Bank of Baroda, Pilar and Mrs. Manisha Vijayanand Naik - Ex-Student and Teacher at Anjuman Himayatul Islam High School, Baina Vasco. The event witnessed with inspiring speeches and vibrant cultural performances. Awards were presented to subject toppers, overall achievers and special categories like Best Outgoing Student, Best NSS, NCC, Sports and Library. The event concluded on a proud and motivating note, celebrating excellence and hard work.
