During the session, Principal, Fr Fredrick Rodrigues welcomed the students followed by address by the Dy Director of IGNOU, Shri. G Srinivas, who presented an overview of IGNOU’s flexible learning approach, highlighting the diverse resources and support systems available to distance learners. Our SYBCom History students enjoyed a Nature Walk at Dr. Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, Chorao, followed by visits to Carambolim Lake and Sulabhat Lake on 22nd October. A day of exploring Goa's natural beauty!
On 15th October, our History students explored South Goa’s ancient heritage, visiting Chandranath Temple in Paroda, Chandor’s Excavated Site, Rivona Cave, and the transplanted Mahadeva temple of Curdi at Xelpem. A day of immersive learning, connecting classroom lessons with our rich past!
On 11th October, our History students visited the ancient Mahadeva Temple at Tambdi Surla, where they explored into South India's rich cultural heritage and architectural history. It was a fantastic day of hands-on learning and exploration!
Ms. Manasi Kunkolkar and Ms. Rucha Dalvi from our college participated in the West Zone Junior Athletics Championship 2024, held at the Rashtrasant Tukoji Maharaj Nagpur University Sports Complex in Nagpur, Maharashtra, from October 4 to 6, 2024. Ms. Manasi Kunkolkar achieved remarkable success winning a bronze medal in shot put and a silver medal in discus throw. Ms. Rucha Dalvi performed commendably finishing fourth in the 100 meters and fifth in the 200 meters.

Mr. Harshad Shirodkar from our college achieved remarkable success by securing 3rd place in the 65 kg bodybuilding category at Sanguem Shree 2024, organized by Dattawadi Boyz under the Goa Bodybuilding and Fitness Association, recognized by the Sports Authority of Goa and the Goa Olympic Association, affiliated with the Indian Body Builders Federation. Additionally, he won a bronze medal in the Best Physique Competition organized by Goa University in the same weight category.
Students from the Department of Political Science of our College attended a two day state level Seminar on the theme "Revitalizing Public Administration:Reforms for efficiency and effectiveness " On 26th and 27th September 2024 organised by Public Administration programme, Manohar Parrikar School of Law, Governance and public policy.
