Our student Mr. Sahil Awasthi (TYBCom) was felicitated on 14 February 2026 by Shree Nagesh Maharudra Panchayatan Saunsthan, Canturlim, Tiswadi, Goa and the *Directorate of Social Welfare, Government of Goa,* during the event organised under Mukhyamantri Sahayata Nidhi Yojana, for his outstanding service in Cyber Crime Awareness & Prevention, carried out as part of his voluntary work with the Goa Police under Cyber Yoddha.![]()
The award was received on his behalf by the PSI and PCs of Agassaim Police Station and later presented to him at Agassaim Police Station.

The Department of History organized a workshop on "Filmmaking and Production" on 5th February 2026 at 12:00 pm in the Conference Room. The workshop was coordinated by Asst. Prof. Diana Fernandes, with the participation of 19 students. The workshop aimed to document reality, aiming to inform, educate and inspire viewers by presenting factual information about real people, events or social issues.
The NCC Navy Company and NSS Cell of Fr. Agnel College of Arts & Commerce, Pilar-Goa in collaboration with the Fire Safety Association of India (FSAI) Goa Chapter and the Directorate of Fire & Emergency Services (DFES) organised a Fire Safety Workshop for Students and Staff of the College on 05th February 2026. A hands-on training session was also conducted, during which students and staff actively used the fire extinguishers available on campus, equipping them with practical skills to effectively handle fire emergencies.

Assistant Professor Mr. Andrew Antao, ESDC Incharge, and Associate Professor Mr. Roy Gomes, Supporting Faculty of the Entrepreneurship & Startup Development Cell (ESDC) of Fr. Agnel College of Arts and Commerce, Pilar–Goa, attended the six-day Faculty Mentor Development Programme (FMDP) at the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Ahmedabad, from 19th to 24th January 2026. The programme aimed at strengthening faculty capabilities in mentoring student entrepreneurs through structured learning, experiential activities, and expert interactions. The exposure gained will enhance the effectiveness of ESDC initiatives and further promote an entrepreneurship culture and startup development among students of the institution.
A beautiful moment of harmony and reflection .15 students participated in the Interfaith Gathering at the Institute of Mater Dei (Santa Monica), Old Goa, on the theme “Faith and Interfaith Dialogue from a Women’s Perspective,” and performed a devotional song.
