The NCC Navy Wing of Fr. Agnel College of Arts & Commerce, Pilar-Goa organised an online awareness campaign on the "Aatma Nirbhar Bharat" initiative of Government of India. Cadets and ANO took online pledge on 'Be Vocal About Local'. Posters, digital posters and information videos were also made by cadets to create awareness among the masses.
Fr. Agnel College, Pilar, celebrated the 74th Independence Day on 15th August 2020, with the Principal, Prof. Savio Falleiro hoisting the tri-colour, assisted by ANO Asst. Prof. Andrew Antao and NCC Cadet Captain Teena Mathew. This was followed by singing of the National Anthem. Dr. Fr. Fredrick Rodrigues, Vice Principal then led the gathering in prayer. Principal, Prof. Savio Falleiro, in his address thanked the staff members for their loyalty to the nation; he stated that every little contribution that each one makes for the College, goes a long way in helping our State as well as the Nation. Librarians Day Celebration at Fr Agnel College, Pilar
The 128th birth anniversary of Padmashree Dr. S.R. Ranganathan was celebrated at Fr. Agnel College of Arts & Commerce, Pilar Goa on 12th August 2020. The Librarians Day is celebrated on 12th August, on the birthday of Dr. S.R. Ranganathan, the Indian librarian and educator called as Father of Library Science in India and whose contributions have had worldwide influence.
Present at the occasion were Fr. Mateus Fernandes (Chairman, Xaverian Educational Society), College Principal Prof. Savio Falleiro, Fr. Santosh D’souza, Dr. Fredrick Rodrigues (Vice-Principal), Ms. Loren Diniz (IQAC Co-ordinator), Ms. Mini Gangadharan (Chairperson, Library Committee), Faculty members, Library Staff and others.

Unit of our College conducted an Online Poster Competition to commemorate International Youth Day 2020 as part of Goa State AIDS Control Society (Goa SACS), which is organizing an All Goa Online Poster Competition on the occasion of International Youth Day on 12th August, 2020. The Theme for this Year is, 'Youth Engagement for Global Action’. The topic for the Online Poster Competition is ‘Youth and HIV/ AIDS’.
